IL Jin Electronics (India), a subsidiary of room air conditioner manufacturer Amber Enterprises, has filed preliminary papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise up to Rs 2,500 crore through an initial public offering (IPO).
The IPO comprises an entirely fresh issue of equity shares by the precision electronics manufacturing services provider.
The company may also consider a pre-IPO placement of Rs 500 crore before filing the Red Herring Prospectus with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). If the pre-IPO placement is undertaken, the fresh issue size will be reduced to the extent of the amount raised through the placement, according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) filed on November 6.
IL Jin Electronics operates 11 manufacturing facilities, including one in Israel, and has four business verticals: electronics manufacturing services (comprising printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and box-build solutions), bare PCB manufacturing, power electronics, and industrial automation.
The company, which claims to be India's largest PCB manufacturer in terms of revenue in FY26, proposes to utilise Rs 1,636 crore of the net IPO proceeds towards debt repayment. Further, Rs 189 crore will be used to purchase certain plant, machinery and equipment for its manufacturing units, while the remaining proceeds will be allocated for general corporate purposes.
