U.S. trade representative Jamieson Greer reported roughly $1.17 million to $3.75 million in cash, retirement accounts and other investments according to a CNBC analysis of his newly obtained 2025 financial disclosure.
The 16-page filing from the Office of Government Ethics, offers a new look at the finances of President Donald Trump's top trade official after he left a lucrative partnership at King & Spalding to join the administration in February 2025.
Greer reported receiving $652,610 in salary and bonus from the law firm in 2025. In his nominee disclosure, he listed an anticipated performance-based bonus for work performed in 2024, valued at $250,001 to $500,000, that would be paid before he entered government.
He had previously reported about $1.5 million in salary and bonus from King & Spalding.
One of the clearest changes in the new filing is Greer's cash holdings. An account labeled "U.S. bank #2" jumped from $250,001-$500,000 in his nominee filing to $500,001-$1 million in the new disclosure. It generated another $15,001-$50,000 in interest.
