As technology changes how financial products are bought and sold, financial distributors are looking at new ways to reach clients, manage their businesses and stay competitive. From digital transactions and online onboarding to artificial intelligence (AI) tools, technology is opening up opportunities to make everyday operations simpler and serve more clients.
These changes will be among the key areas of interest at Moneycontrol FiDEX 2026, which returns for its second edition on November 25–26 at Hall 6, NESCO (Bombay Exhibition Centre), Mumbai.
The event will bring together mutual fund distributors (MFDs), registered investment advisers (RIAs), insurance advisors, fintech platforms, technology providers and leading financial brands to explore new products, business opportunities and developments shaping India's financial distribution industry.
As transactions go digital, distributors must keep pace
The shift towards digital transactions is already visible in the mutual fund industry. According to the AMFI-Crisil Factbook 2025, digital channels accounted for 89.4% of mutual fund purchase transactions in FY24, up from 78.9% in FY19. Digital channels also accounted for 88.3% of systematic investment plan (SIP) purchase transactions in FY24.
