Bajaj Finserv reported a 23 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit attributable to owners to Rs 2,758 crore for the quarter ended September 2026 (Q2 FY27), compared with Rs 2,244 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Net interest income (NII) rose 23.6 percent to Rs 13,335 crore from Rs 10,785 crore a year earlier.
The company's consolidated total income increased 17 percent to Rs 43,416 crore from Rs 37,215 crore in the year-ago quarter. Consolidated profit after tax, including minority interests, rose 25 percent to Rs 5,952 crore from Rs 4,746 crore.
Shares of Bajaj Finserv were trading 1.23 percent higher at Rs 1,713 apiece in afternoon trade on Tuesday, November 3. The stock has declined 15.8 percent so far in 2026, compared with a 9.3 percent fall in the Nifty 50. The company's market capitalisation stood at Rs 2.74 lakh crore.
Bajaj Finserv said unrealised mark-to-market (MTM) movements in the equity portfolios of its insurance subsidiaries could cause temporary volatility in reported earnings. The company reported an after-tax unrealised MTM loss of Rs 177 crore during Q2 FY27, compared with Rs 161 crore a year earlier.
