InCred Capital has appointed Abhinav Khanna as chief executive officer of capital markets and Abhimanyu Kalra as managing director and co-head of equities, the company told Moneycontrol.
The appointments come as the company looks to expand its institutional equities business in India and also strengthen presence in overseas markets.
As part of the InCred Group, the capital markets firm is targeting manifold growth in its Indian institutional equities market share over the next five years, group founder and CEO Bhupinder Singh said.
“India’s primary capital markets have seen heightened activity, with a strong pipeline of IPOs, block trades and equity fundraises. We are also investing in technology and trading infrastructure to support the expansion,” Singh said.
The institutional equities segment includes research, sales and trading, block execution, equity capital markets and corporate access.
