Paras Healthcare, the Haryana-based healthcare services provider operating eight hospitals across North India, Bihar and Jharkhand, has filed its red herring prospectus with the Registrar of Companies on October 14, announcing that its Rs 1,450-crore maiden public issue will open next week.
The initial public offering (IPO) will open for subscription on October 21 and close on October 23. The anchor book will open for institutional investors on October 19.
The hospital chain, promoted by Dr Dharminder Kumar Nagar, is expected to finalise share allotment by October 26 and list on the stock exchanges on October 28.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of Rs 950 crore. Nagar and Commelina, an affiliate of Malaysian private equity firm Creador, will sell shares worth Rs 300 crore and Rs 650 crore, respectively.
The IPO size has been reduced from Rs 1,800 crore originally planned as per the draft papers refiled in June 2026. The SEBI subsequently cleared the IPO papers in August 2026.
