All three major US equity indexes lost ground, with the tech-laden Nasdaq losing the most in the wake of Alphabet's disappointing quarterly results released late Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 132.54 points, or 0.25%, to 52,342.56, the S&P 500 lost 23.59 points, or 0.30%, to 7,720.39 and the Nasdaq Composite lost 365.13 points, or 1.37%, to 26,184.72.

Cognizant reported a 4.6 percent YoY increase in Q3 revenue to $5.7 billion, or 4.8 percent in constant currency terms. The company narrowed its FY26 constant currency revenue growth guidance to 4-4.4 percent from 4-5.5 percent and adjusted diluted EPS guidance to $5.72-$5.79. Adjusted operating margin improved 30 bps YoY to 16.3 percent.
