Bonfiglioli Transmissions shares made a flat debut on the stock exchanges on October 23, listing at the initial public offering (IPO) price of Rs 586 per share.
The shares listed at Rs 586 apiece on both the BSE and the NSE, at zero percent premium to the issue price. Following the listing, Bonfiglioli Transmissions' market capitalisation stood at around Rs 11,016.56 crore.
The flat listing came in below grey market expectations. The grey market premium (GMP) had indicated an estimated listing gain of around 11 per cent on the morning of October 23, according to InvestorGain. Investors must note that the GMP is an unofficial indicator of investor sentiment and does not guarantee listing gains.
However, the actual listing price remained unchanged from the IPO issue price, meaning investors who received shares in the public issue did not make any listing gains.
