EAAA India Alternatives, erstwhile Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors, filed red herring prospectus with the Registrar of Companies intimating that its Rs 1,200-crore worth maiden public issue will hit Dalal Street on October 26.
The initial public offering (IPO) comprises an offer-for-sale (OFS), closing on October 28, while the one-day anchor book for institutional investors will open on October 23, as per the red herring prospectus filed on October 19.
Promoter entity Edelweiss Securities and Investments is a selling shareholder in the OFS. The issue proceeds, excluding offer expenses, will go to the said selling shareholder, and the company will not receive any funds from the IPO.
The issue size has been reduced from Rs 1,500 crore planned earlier as per the draft red herring prospectus filed in January 2026. Consequently, the draft document was cleared by capital markets regulator SEBI in April 2026.
The IPO share allotment is expected to be finalised by October 29, while the trading in its equity shares is likely to commence on the bourses on November 2.
