Adani Power on Friday posted about a 142 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 7,019.32 crore in the September quarter of FY27, citing higher revenue and one-time income.
Profit after tax stood at Rs 2,906.46 crore in Q2 FY26, the company said in a statement.
Operating revenue increased by 29.8 per cent to Rs 17,014.06 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 13,106.34 crore in Q2 FY26, it said.
The growth was driven by higher volumes on account of a significant increase in electricity demand and higher tariffs under the power purchase agreement (PPA) due to a sharp increase in imported coal prices and improved merchant realisation, Adani Power said.
