Actionable Insight: 🔴 Bearish Risk: Regulatory scrutiny, profit decline, or sell-off risk may create near-term volatility.

Billionbrains Garage Ventures, the parent company of stock broking platform Groww, reported a 54 percent rise in consolidated net profit of Rs 725 crore, for the September quarter of the financial year 2027.

The Bengaluru-based wealth-tech firm had reported Rs 471 crore in Q2 FY 26.

The robust growth in net profit came even as the recent Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) move to introduce a Closing Auction Session (CAS) impacted derivatives trading volume for all the brokers.

Groww reported revenue of Rs 1,541 crore during the quarter ending September, a 44 percent growth, up from Rs 1,071 crore it reported during Q2 of FY 26.

The equity derivatives contribution to revenue declined to 45 percent during the quarter from around 57 percent during the same period last year, indicating the company’s efforts in rapid diversification yielding results.
