Abakkus Asset Managers, founded by market veteran Sunil Singhania, has acquired additional shares worth Rs 101 crore in pharmaceutical company Jubilant Pharmova, while Qualcomm exited Shadowfax Technologies by selling its remaining shares through open-market transactions on October 12.
Jubilant Pharmova shares appeared to react positively to the transaction, rising 2.04 percent to Rs 950.90 amid significant trading volumes on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Abakkus Four2eight Opportunities Fund purchased 11 lakh shares, representing 0.69 percent of Jubilant Pharmova's paid-up equity, from Quant Mutual Fund for Rs 100.65 crore. The shares were bought at Rs 915 apiece.
Meanwhile, Quant Mutual Fund sold a total of 20.81 lakh shares in the pharmaceutical company. In addition to the 11 lakh shares acquired by Abakkus, Quant sold another 9.81 lakh shares for Rs 89.82 crore at Rs 915.01 per share. The total sale represented approximately 1.3 percent of the company's paid-up equity.
According to the shareholding pattern for the quarter ended June 2026, Abakkus Emerging Opportunities Fund-1 held a 1.15 percent stake in Jubilant Pharmova, while Quant Mutual Fund, through Quant Small Cap Fund, held a 1.85 percent stake.
