Anil Rego, Founder and CEO of Right Horizons, believes earnings visibility remains reasonably healthy, though uneven across sectors.
“Banks benefit from credit growth, improved deposit mobilisation and broadly stable asset quality, despite some margin pressure. IT sector growth remains moderate, despite deal wins and opportunities in AI,” Rego said. He remains cautiously optimistic, particularly about companies with strong order books, healthy balance sheets and robust cash flows.
According to Rego, sweeping policy changes may not be necessary to revive market sentiment and restore investor confidence.
“Consistent regulation, tax-policy stability, an improved ease of doing business and stronger earnings delivery can support market sentiment. Continued policy support for manufacturing, semiconductors, defence, renewable energy and advanced technologies could create new growth opportunities,” he said in an interview with Moneycontrol.
