Shares of PC Jeweller Ltd continued to decline for the third consecutive session on Monday, falling 8.52 per cent to settle at Rs 16.53 apiece on the BSE amid selling pressure.
The stock has declined nearly 11 per cent over the last three trading sessions.
Shares of the company had rallied earlier last week after it reported a 58 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 330.66 crore for the July-September quarter of the 2026-27 financial year, driven by higher sales. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 209.54 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
PC Jeweller also announced plans to roll out up to 100 large-format showrooms across Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III cities over the next 12-18 months. The expansion will follow a mix of company-owned outlets and an asset-light franchise model.
The company said it was confident of starting work on new showrooms in the current financial year. It is also planning to launch a new jewellery brand focused on demi-fine and lightweight jewellery, as well as lab-grown-diamond fine jewellery, targeting younger and self-purchasing consumers.
